Grass-Fed Beef Quality & Cooking

February 23, 2008 19:27 by Admin
L6 Cattle Ranches is committed to providing the best tasting Grass-Fed beef available. We take pride in our offerings and we welcome you to post your comments and suggestions regarding our beef quality. We also ask you to share with others tips on how to cook and prepare Grass-Fed beef. Grass-Fed beef is typically lean at 85%, which requires cooking methods to seal in what moisture content exists in the meat. It is important to note that dry-aged beef results in a drop of moisture content of between 4-15%. This dry-aging is what also gives you the excellent beef taste evident in our product. We dry-age our beef for 3-weeks unless a customer requests otherwise.

The beef that we have received from L6 Cattle Ranches has been the best beef we have ever ate.  I fixed a roast for some family that were visiting.  I had cooked it all night in my crockpot.   They went on and on about how tender and what a good flavor the roast had!  Just a hint: try putting a can of golden mushroom soup in at the begining.  Yummy!!!!

I usually avoid beef because I don't like it much and since it's heavy as well than other meat. I've mutton and white meat. To be honest, I didn't know about the difference between grass-fed beef and grain one. I checked out your site and it really mention some of the benefits of Grass-Fed beef, where can we find such beef? Is it available in normal stores? I think a lot of people are still not aware of it.

Grass-fed beef is available in many stores.  The best way to buy it is directly from families who raise the animals.  Please contact L6 to make arrangements to have some beef delivered to your door!  575-849-0006.
